Daniele Bortotto is a product designer born in Italy in 1988.

He started studying Industrial Design at the IUAV, Venice, where he graduated in 2010. He then moved to ECAL, Switzerland, to attend a Master in Product Design. In June 2012 he graduated  with a thesis project on the power of scent and its link with objects of our daily life. The result of this research was selected from Camper, and became one of the main topics of the Camper summer Designers Workshop 2012 in Mallorca, with the title 'The smell of design'.

Daniele had the exciting chance to be part of the Art direction team and design the set for the final show. In 2013, together with Giorgia Zanellato, he presented Acqua Alta, a collection of products inspired by the city of Venice. This project is the result of the collaboration with some of the best craftsman and companies from the Venetian area, such as Rubelli.

In 2014 the two designers work with Moroso to create a series of furnishings and objects for the living area called La Serenissima, that were introduced for the first time at the 53rd edition of the Milan Furniture Fair 'Salone del Mobile'.
